Todd Cavanaugh

Todd is the Executive Director of BASIC College Ministries. After living on a public college campus for several years, Todd developed a passion to see students' lives transformed by Christ. He now travels extensively speaking in the Northeast and organizes large conferences for students. He recently graduated with an MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology after studying at SUNY Brockport and Elim Bible Institute. He lives in Lima, NY where he attends Elim Gospel Church.

Chris Zeigler

Chris was a student leader at the SUNY Oswego campus and has never lost his heart for college students since then. He and his wife, Cheryl are currently living in Lima and working on the Monroe Community College and University of Rochester college campuses in the Rochester area. Chris is excited to see what the Lord will do on college campuses in the United States, and looks forward to using his giftings in worship and evangelism to serve the Lord.

Cheryl Zeigler

Cheryl is currently working full-time on the BASIC staff planting new groups and working in the offices. As a student, Cheryl led her BASIC group at the State University of New York at Oswego and has a heart to see God's glory come to all college campuses. She believes the Lord is preparing to awaken college campuses and is eager to be a part of His plan.

Cathy Allport

Cathy is the Financial Director for BASIC. She has been involved with BASIC since its inception in 1978 when she was a student leader at the State University of New York at Oswego. She has two daughters and lives in Lima, NY.

Justin Krog

Justin is the Senior Web Developer for BASIC College Ministries. He is excited about using the skills and gifts that the Lord has developed in him to bless BASIC. Justin has been designing websites since 2000 and is enrolled in the Web Development program at Alfred State College, where he serves as the president of the local BASIC group and an RA.

Kelly Hopson

Kelly is the Administrative Assistant for BASIC College Ministries. She recently earned a BA from the State University of New York at Oswego and is excited to be joining the BASIC staff after serving in student leadership at her local BASIC group. Throughout her four years in Oswego she developed a deep love for witnessing to and praying for college-age people, both nationally and internationally, and cannot wait to see what kind of amazing things God has in store for the college campuses!

Jonathan Burgio

Jonathan played Division 1 football at the University at Buffalo and gave his life to God while at UB. He was the first ever collegiate athlete to win the “Frank Reich Call to Courage Award,” which had formerly only been given to professional football players. He won the award along with Kurt Warner. He recently left his job as a Financial Advisor to work full time with BASIC. He will focus on speaking at the many BASIC groups, networking with other churches and connecting with Juniors and Seniors in high school to get them involved with BASIC. His goal is to be a motivational speaker while still moving in the supernatural.
