I am the Assistant Director of BASIC College Ministries and have a heart for reaching college students through developing effective campus ministries.
I write to provide college ministers with tips and resources for better reaching college students. Most of the topics I'll address fall into the categories of better planning, outreach, and improving your large group meetings. However, I also write on other various topics for college ministry. I enjoy writing, reading, playing guitar and bass, and spending time with my wife and daughter. I'm also an avid sports fan and am known for having favorite teams all over the country from the Oakland Raiders to the Chicago White Sox to the New York Knicks. We live in Lima, NY just south of Rochester where BASIC has its headquarters.

My wife, Cheryl, and I have been working with BASIC full-time since 2009 and have helped start BASIC groups in the Rochester, NY area at SUNY Geneseo, Monroe Community College, and the University of Rochester. We use our experience from starting groups and traveling to the nearly 30 BASIC ministries to consult and advise churches looking to start new BASIC groups outside of the Rochester area.I enjoy writing, reading, playing guitar and bass, and spending time with my wife and daughter.
