Plant a BASIC group on a campus where no prior group has existed with the help of a local church
Visit campus groups to preach, lead worship, and minister to students
Plan conferences, evangelistic events, missions trips, and leadership summits
Assist with graphic arts and website design/maintenance
Make friends and develop life-long relationships

FAQ's

Would I have health insurance with BASIC? +
Yes. You will receive a salary plus health insurance, plus workers' compensation insurance. You will be given a large chunk of time to build up a team of supporters who enable you to thrive in this postion.
What if I don't know how to raise support? +
Don't know how to raise support? Join the club. Neither does anyone else who joins BASIC! But we'll train you. It's easier than you might think. Just imagine if you could build a team of 30-40 people agreeing to support you monthly. That's often all it takes to be able to serve in full-time ministry. The truth is, we often let this one issue–money–stop us from obeying the Lord's calling for our lives. Let vision pull your train, not money! We live in the most generous and wealthy society that has ever existed in the history of the world. God will provide for you!
Isn't raising support awkward? +
Many people have misconceptions about raising support. You are not begging for money. You are giving people the opportunity to give to a cause they believe deeply in: reaching college students for Jesus. So don't worry about the details; we will train you in the techniques. Just listen to God's voice if He is calling you to make a difference on our universities and step out in faith!

Administrative Assistant/Event Planner +
Must have good organizational skills. This person will answer phones, file paperwork, help plan conferences, and update resources. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access preferred.
Traveling Team Musician +
Must be able to travel to colleges with band members and view music as an art form used to bring glory to God. Skills needed in songwriting, arranging, and performing both live and in studio sessions. Needs to be excellent at one or more instruments.
Campus Worker +
Work on a college campus or multiple campuses in a region running a weekly BASIC ministry. You will plan weekly meetings, events, interact with students and churches, and help develop leaders.
